Mr Godwin Adogame popularly known as Mr Gee, is man of many talents but most prominently recognized in his career as an On -air Personality (OAP) per excellence and the founder of Medrock Records.

In his earlier years, he ventured into rapping as an art. He had always had a love for music as an art especially in its diversity.

With over 12 years of experience in media world as a renowned OAP, Mr Gee developed his ear for music to a greater degree as he actively engaged in A&R (Artist and Repertoire), music promotion while understudying music strategy.

He was exposed to various genres of music ranging from hip hop, afrobeat to folklore, country music, all forms of alternative music and lots of others. This only fanned his passion to see good music being put out there.

Gradually he began to toy with the idea of founding a record label to give him a better platform and reach to accessing and spotting musical talents, guiding them to expressing their skill while putting out diverse contents from the different genres of music. In all, he sought to create an enabling environment for musicians to grow and thrive in; which he is currently working on.

Medruck Records was officially birthed and registered in the year 2018, after he began to set up structure and put things in place for it to thrive.

Now in 2022, the label is set to take the music industry by storm.

As the label’s debut artist, Mack has already shown promising signs when he released the track ‘Belinda’ in 2017 as it caused quite a stir and left people wanting more. 

Mr Gee heading the helm of affairs currently at Medruck Records has a motto he lives by: Why stress yourself with hard work when smart work does the better work.

He has promised the label to be one to look out for in the coming years.
